Any EDI 214 message type sent to Maersk with a container # should update the container # on the FRO. Currently, EDI does not update container #s. 75% of YTD volume (will be increasing) is handled by an EDI vendor and EDI integrated vendors are not required to use SupplierConnect. The container # should be updated upon receival of any 214 message. For ex: if a 214AA EDI message is sent, the appointment AND container # should be updated on the FRO. |

If we are already receiving container number on 214s, then I agree that enabling that to flow to FRO will improve automation.
I will check internally how to get this prioritized.
In parallel, I would like to ask you to share potential improvements you expect and how we could track improvements.

@Rodrigo Eduardo Dias what are the odds we get this prioritized and implemented? With 75% of volume executed by EDI integrated vendors, this is huge and causing issues downstream. I expect we may be 80-85% EDI integrated by EOY.
